The second HS outdoor track meet of the 2008 season.
Shot put - 1st place with a toss of 59' 2.50"
(New AHS record-previous record of 53' 4.5" was held by Zack)
(New OK Silver record-previous record of 55'10.75" held by Anson Clauson of Hopkins-2003)
Discus - 1st place with a throw of 168' 9"
(New AHS record-previous record of 151' 4" was held by Zack)
(New OK Silver record-previous record of 156'8" held by Bill Griffey of Hopkins-1997)
Just a side note, Zack and I had a deal that if he breaks the school record I will bring him a Subway sub for lunch at school the next day but because he kept breaking it over and over last year we changed it to he had to break it by 1 foot in order to get a sub lunch from mom. Did you notice that he broke Discus by 17+ feet and Shot by 5+ feet. I hope he isn't expecting 22 subs. -Good times!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Those are HUGE throws! That's awesome...great job Zack!
I'm going to try to come to the home meet on Thursday...think you'll be breaking some more records? :)
